I awoke to the blare of my alarm clock at precisely 7 a.m., which was exactly the time I set it for last night, before I went to sleep (as I tend to do during the night); I took this also to mean that my electricity was running, which meant I paid the bill this month. I found that the sun had risen when I opened my eyes, which led me to the conclusion that it was day time, and rightfully so.
